Uziel Services is Hiring
1st Year Electrical Apprentice
Brisbane / Logan | Real Work. Real Conditions.
Before you read any further — this is not a clean, easy, air-conditioned apprenticeship.
This is a real trade, in real houses & businesses, with real heat, real dust, real spiders, and real expectations
Uziel Services is a small but established electrical and air-conditioning business. We work in homes, roof spaces, tight sub-floor crawl spaces, and places most people don't enjoy being. We run very high standards for workmanship, ethics, and accountability.
If you're looking for an easy start, something to "try out", or a job that stays clean — this isn't it.
What the job actually looks like
Most days include:
* Hot roof spaces, tight areas and under-house work
* Dust, insulation itch, sweat, spiders and awkward positions
* Out in the sun and then the rain and then the sun again
* Melting from humidity
* Early starts and physical labour
* Repetitive tasks done properly (every time)
* Cleaning up until the site is left right
* Being relied on by your tradesman — even when the day turns to rubbish
Your first year or two will be hard yakka
This isn't "sometimes" work — it's the normal day-to-day.
What we're looking for
You'll need:
* Cert II in Electrotechnology (Must Have)
* Driver's licence (manual preferred)
* Your own car
We're also looking for someone who:
* Shows up and works hard
* Is polite, well presented and well spoken
* Can handle being uncomfortable while learning
* Respects instructions, safety, clients and the team
* Speaks up honestly when they're struggling
* Wants a long-term trade, not a short stop
Attitude Beats Everything
This is NOT for you if you:
* Avoid dirty or physically demanding work
* Switch off when things get tough
* Think basic labour is "below" you
* Aren't sure if trade life is really what you want
What we offer
* A proper apprenticeship — You'll be able to hold your own on any site and with any company when done
* Real on-the-job learning in electrical and air-conditioning
* A team that values effort, honesty and reliability
* Bonuses
* Ice lattes on the boss
* Maximus drinks
* Overtime
* Dual trade opportunities
What makes this worth it
You'll learn real skills early, not spend years standing around. Extra paid training and tickets once trust is proven. A tight team where everyone pulls their weight and poor performers don't last. An apprenticeship that builds real capability and sets you up for a long-term trade career, not just a job.

4. Yes or No:
This apprenticeship involves physical work where you'll sometimes go home sore, itchy, dirty, and tired.
Are you prepared to do that consistently while learning a trade?
(Explain this answer in one sentence.)
5. If you're given repetitive or basic tasks all day,
what's your attitude and why?
Important
