Hays is currently partnered with a Federal Government agency to recruit a n Assistant Director in Events Marketing for a 12-month placement. This company is an independent statutory agency that is responsible for implementing programs that support a better life those with a significant and permanent disability and their families and carers.
**Your new role**

Responsibilities include:
- Co-ordinate small and large scale events from the initial planning to running the event according to stakeholder requirements, target audience and objectives.
- Awareness of budgetary impacts with relation to event organisation.
- Oversee and review project plans, briefing documents and reports.
- Analyse and interpret organisational data to support and determine appropriate course of action to drive business outcomes.
- Offer broad project managing approaches to meet deadlines and produce high quality outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through strong engagement and collaboration.

- Strong interpersonal skills to ensure stakeholder relationships are optimised
- Ability to collaborate and work closely across various teams with emphasis on providing expertise and assistance on complex matters
- Ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment
- Commitment to creating positive outcomes and demonstrating strong leadership
- Experience interpreting complex information and exercise strong decision making
- Ability to respond and prioritise competing and urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner without compromising on accuracy and business outcomes.
Due to the nature of our client, for this role you MUST be an Australian Citizen.
