PM Route Supervisor – Queanbeyan

PM Shift – 11:00am – 7:00pm

Job Description / The Role –

Toll Group are looking for a proactive and experienced PM Route Supervisor to join our dynamic team and working alongside a leading beverage supplier and help ensure the success of our operations.

As the PM Route Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring KPIs are met, managing customer relationships at a local level, and driving continuous improvement within the team. You will also work to develop and implement strategies to meet business goals while ensuring full compliance with safety, legislative, and operational standards.

Key Accountabilities / A day in the life of an PM Route Supervisor -

- Meet Operational Targets: Ensure service level targets (on-time delivery) are achieved, maintaining performance above 99%.

- Customer Focus: Act as the first point of contact for all operational shift issues, ensuring customer satisfaction is always prioritised.

- Team Leadership: Lead the site in achieving required results across business objectives, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all drivers and staff adhere to OHS and safety requirements. Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with site safety standards.

- Efficiency and Cost Management: Maximise operational profitability by achieving service level targets in the most cost-effective manner.

- Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration within the team and across the business, ensuring all deliverables are met efficiently.

Pre-Requisites for Success:

- Strong understanding of transport routing operations and customer service expectations.

- Proven experience in meeting service obligations and KPIs within a transport or logistics environment.

- Familiarity with safety legislation and policies, particularly in the transport and heavy vehicle industries.

- HR driver's licence (Heavy Vehicle).

- Forklift licence (Counterbalance).

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work autonomously.
