The role of a Visual Arts Learning Assistant is to support and promote the school's aims and objectives in delivering an engaging visual arts program for students. This involves working alongside Visual Art classroom teachers as part of a cooperative team to provide a vibrant, dynamic, and innovative educational experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the development of lesson plans and educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of students
* Providing guidance and assistance to students in their creative pursuits, promoting artistic expression and skill development
* Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and collaboration among students
This is a term-time only position with a stand-down during school holidays, except for a few days before and after each term. The expected work days during the school holidays will be advised at the start of each year.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
