The Clinical Nurse Consultant - Cancer Care (CNC) North West provides clinical leadership and direction to improve the quality and continuity of care and support provided to clients diagnosed with cancer across the continuum of care.
The North West Cancer Centre, Burnie, provides comprehensive specialist outpatient Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Clinical Haematology Services to the North West Tasmanian Community.
Responsibilities
* Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Show highly developed problem‐solving, conceptual, and analytical capabilities, with the capacity to evaluate complex situations effectively
* Be an experienced registered nurse with advanced cancer care skills, ensuring coordinated care and optimal patient pathways
Qualifications
Essential Criteria:
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse or Midwife
Desirable Criteria:
* Relevant post‐graduate qualifications in cancer care coordination/nursing
* Current driver's licence
Salary and Benefits
Salary: $118,297 to $125,543 per annum, pro rata. Employer contributes 12% superannuation on top.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type
