System Administration Role
The primary function of this position is to ensure the smooth operation of server environments, encompassing Microsoft 365 and Azure AD. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying and resolving business problems through IT services, exploring opportunities to introduce new services.
Key responsibilities include performing routine server maintenance tasks, as well as reactive fault finding. A comprehensive understanding of client networks and common IT/business issues is also essential.
The role requires the development of automation scripts in PowerShell and Bash for repetitive tasks, adding/removing user accounts, assisting with password resets, and maintaining SharePoint-based document management systems.
Fault ticket notes must be accurately recorded, and consistent naming standards ensured. Building strong relationships with team members and clients is critical to success.
Staying current with technology solutions, including M365, Azure Cloud, and cybersecurity, is imperative. Experience working with MS Server 2016-2025, Remote Desktop Servers, Networking, MS Windows 7, 10 and 11, MS Office 365, O365 Admin Console, Intune, SharePoint, and Azure AD is highly desirable.
This role involves assisting with audits, project managing client company site moves, and helping the projects team implement new network and server environments, as well as cloud migration projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience working with Microsoft Server 2016-2025, Remote Desktop Servers, Networking, MS Windows 7, 10 and 11, MS Office 365, O365 Admin Console, Intune, SharePoint, and Azure AD.
* Strong networking knowledge required.
