We're growing fast, and we need a Project Manager who can take the wheel of our delivery engine and keep it revving.
About You
You are a coordinator by nature and an enforcer by necessity. You hate seeing installers standing around, and you have a physical reaction to wasted materials. You understand that a successful project is won or lost in the pre-start phase. You're comfortable on a hot Darwin construction site, you speak the language of \"layers,\" and you have the backbone to hold clients and site managers accountable.
You'll thrive here if you:
* Have a background in trade project management (flooring, fit-out, or construction).
* Possess a minimum of 3-4 years of trade project management experience.
* Have specific experience in flooring project management.
* Are obsessive about site readiness—moisture, levels, and access are your religion.
* Can manage multiple installation teams without losing your head or your schedule.
* Are a \"Variation Hawk\"—you see the extra work and get it signed off before the tool bags open.
* Take ownership. When a project hits a hurdle, you don't call the boss; you find the solution.
About the Role
As Project Manager, you are the bridge between the sale and the finished floor. Your mission is to ensure our layers are working at maximum efficiency and our clients are kept in the loop.
You will:
* Own the Site: Conduct pre-start inspections to ensure 100% readiness.
* Command the Layers: Manage daily work allocations and provide crystal-clear briefings.
* Secure the Gear: Ensure every roll, tile, and adhesive bucket is on-site and accounted for.
* Control the Paperwork: Maintain rigorous daily logs, photos, and safety compliance.
* Protect the Margin: Identify, price, and sign off on site variations in real-time.
* Liaise with Clients: Be the proactive professional voice of RST from handover to completion.
