As part of the Network Integrity group, you will contribute to projects that ensure the authenticity and quality of the data powering our machine learning systems and client outcomes.This is an opportunity for entry-level/early career professionals designed to help you grow as an engineer while contributing to meaningful work.
You will learn from experienced colleagues and gain hands-on exposure to challenges such as fraud detection, invalid traffic mitigation, and incident response.RequiredNo prior experience in network security or fraud prevention is required.
You will be supported as you build your skills while working on projects like:Identifying unusual traffic patterns using user-agent analysis and IP reputation scoring, and utilising AI tech to protect the Rokt NetworkHelping design systems that filter out invalid/fraudulent traffic and protect the quality of data signalsSupporting incident response processes to contain and mitigate threatsExploring new approaches such as Proof-of-Work checks and closed-loop event validationGaining hands on experience coding in modern backend programming languages, working on AWS microservices in a distributed-systems architecture.This is a chance to develop your craft while working on systems that make a real impact on clients and end users.RequirementsWhat you'll doContribute to the design and development of systems that help detect and reduce invalid traffic and fraudWork closely with senior engineers to implement foundational protections, including IP reputation, rate limiting, and anomaly detectionSupport the creation of runbooks and tools that enable quick and clear responses to threatsCollaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists, learning from experienced mentors while contributing your own ideasBuild your skills in AI/ML integration, large-scale data pipelines, and network security practices while contributing to projects that create measurable valueWho You AreYou are curious and motivated to learn recent skills, tools, and approaches to engineeringYou enjoy contributing to team-based problem solving, approaching challenges with creativity and persistenceYou thrive in collaborative environments, value open communication, and seek out opportunities to share ideas and learn from othersYou care about the impact of your work, whether it is protecting clients from fraud, ensuring data quality, or improving efficiency across systemsWhy Join Rokt?
