About the role
The QFMHS comprises Community Forensic Outreach Service (CFOS), Mental Health and Police Programs (Qld Fixated Threat Assessment Centre (QFTAC) and Police Communications Centre Mental Health Liaison Service (PCC MHLS)), Court Liaison Service (CLS), Indigenous Mental Health Intervention Program (IMHIP), and the QFMHS Statewide Team.
About you
* Provision of specialist forensic mental health input to Hospital and Health Service (HHS) mental health services through consultation and liaison, intervention and educational services.
* Provide psychiatry support to the various arms of the QFMHS as required; work in partnership across the Queensland Forensic Mental Health Service system.
* Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals and support the implementation of evidence based clinical practice.
* Foster the promotion of standards of excellence in the provision of clinical and public health services.
