The Hotel Grand Chancellor are looking to fill a Sous Chef position.
You need to be an experienced Sous Chef who is wanting to grow with us and we are offering a great opportunity for you to unveil your talents in a dynamic multi outlet hotel environment.
We need someone who thrives on working independently and ensures a consistent high quality product is delivered, but who can also adapt quickly and work in fast paced kitchens.
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have minimum 2 years' experience as Sous Chef
* Have proven experience in creativity and input into menu design with creative and inventive food ideas that deliver on our customer expectations with consideration to budgets;
* Have proven experience in banquets;
* Experience in Hotels (highly desirable);
* Have solid understanding of ordering processes.
To succeed in this role you will:
* Be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently;
* Ability to adapt quickly and work in fast paced kitchens;
* Ensure food standards, preparation, cooking and presentation are of the highest standard;
* Maintain a high level of cleanliness and standard of hygiene;
* Remain calm when under pressure;
* Work at a fast pace with a strong attention to detail;
