About The Role
This position involves working under the direction of a director to provide podiatry services to residents in an aged care facility. Responsibilities include offering a full suite of podiatry services, conducting assessments and developing treatment plans, and liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor or postgraduate degree in podiatry or podiatric medicine, be registered with AHPRA, and have demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide primary care podiatry services including dermatological care, wound and ulcer management, dressings, nail and fracture care.
* Continuously monitor and assess the podiatry needs of residents and adjust individual programs as required to maximise resident outcomes.
* Transport residents safely to and from appointments.
* Provide podiatry services in a way that respects individual dignity and privacy.
