Our client, a trusted furniture distribution business, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead their warehouse team in Archerfield. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll oversee daily warehouse operations with a strong focus on the efficient handling of incoming and outgoing stock, inventory accuracy, and continuous process improvements. - Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of 5, providing clear direction and regular feedback
- Oversee daily operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatch of bulky goods
- Coordinate container scheduling and unloading, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Maintain effective stock control systems, including regular stocktakes and cycle counts
- Ensure compliance with WHS standards, with a strong focus on safe handling of bulky goods
- Collaborate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal stakeholders to streamline operations
About You:
- Must have previous experience in warehouse management within the furniture or bulky goods industry
- Strong knowledge of warehouse systems, inventory control, and logistics
- Skilled leader with the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, able to manage competing priorities
- Process-driven mindset with the ability to identify and implement operational improvements
