Estimator Role
The role of an estimator is a critical component in the infrastructure sector. We seek a skilled professional to join our team in Melbourne and work on large-scale projects.
About the Position:
* This includes managing estimating processes, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that estimates are accurate and completed within required timeframes.
* Contributing to and bringing together pricing, documentation, and input from various sources, including proposal stakeholders, internal SMEs, vendors, subcontractors, designers, and consultants.
Requirements:
* A tertiary degree qualification to Bachelor status in Engineering.
* Experience across critical infrastructure projects such as data centres, rail, road, tunnels, and/or building services projects.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to establish effective working relationships with various people at different levels both internally and externally.
* A minimum of 5 years experience in a lead or senior estimating role for mechanical / electrical scope ideally within an engineering/project management/infrastructure environment.
* Familiarity with major projects and Tier 1 contracting on large-scale sophisticated projects.
