Job Title
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Support Worker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.
The successful candidate will be working in a residential out of home care program, providing support and guidance to young people with high and complex needs.
This role requires someone who is flexible, able to work varying shifts including days, nights and weekends. A driver's license is also essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individualized support and case management to young people in the program
* Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve positive outcomes for young people
* Develop and implement individualized plans to promote education, physical and mental health
* Ensure consistency and safety for young people at all times
Requirements:
* Experience working with children/young people with challenging behaviors
* Relevant qualifications (Cert 4, Diploma, Degree, or extensive experience and willing to obtain)
* Demonstrated understanding of child protection and statutory child protection frameworks
* Flexibility - The role may require working day, night and weekend shifts
* Driver's license
