Job Overview
We're seeking a highly skilled Urban Planner to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the future of our city.
This role involves assessing development applications, drafting and reviewing local planning policies, evaluating Local Planning Scheme amendments, conducting land use planning research, coordinating responses to State planning initiatives, providing advice to the public and developers, and representing us in meetings and inquiries.
To be successful in this role, you'll need a tertiary qualification in Urban or Town Planning, experience in statutory or strategic planning, strong research and analytical skills, clear and confident communication style, knowledge of planning legislation and processes, and the ability to collaborate and influence respectfully.
