Paradise Bar Echuca is seeking an experienced Cocktail Bartender to join our small, high-performing team.
This role suits a confident, professional bartender who knows their classics, understands cost control, and can create exciting cocktails that align with a tropical, high-end venue.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for delivering consistently high-quality cocktails, excellent customer service, and maintaining strong operational standards across the bar.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve classic and contemporary cocktails to a high standard
* Develop new cocktails in line with current trends and our tropical venue style
* Complete cocktail costings (COGs) for all new menu items
* Maintain accurate stocktakes and assist with stock ordering
* Work collaboratively with our restaurant and café teams to coordinate stock ordering and transfers
* Ensure food safety, hygiene, cleaning schedules, and temperature checks are maintained
* Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
* Work independently when required and as part of a small team
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a high-end cocktail bar
* Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and cocktail techniques
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* High level of English language proficiency
* Sound understanding of bar operations, stock control, and food safety
* Ability to work evenings and late nights
* Unrestricted Australian driver's licence and reliable transport
Highly Regarded
* Experience working in premium or cocktail-focused venues
* Confidence in menu development and creative cocktail design
* Experience working across multiple hospitality venues or groups
