Drive quality, data and capability across our national LAC services

As our Manager, Quality & Capability you'll lead our Quality & Capability function to ensure consistent, compliant and high quality Local Area Coordination (LAC) practice nationally.

You'll oversee quality assurance systems, internal audits and data insights, turning NDIA, PMF and thematic data into practical actions that strengthen workforce performance. You'll lead a small team of Quality Advisors and Data Coordinators, drive capability uplift through onboarding, coaching and training, and deliver our annual Quality Assurance Plan.

This role connects systems, data and capability, enabling consistent quality assurance, informed decision-making and continuous improvement across our LAC services.

Hybrid working arrangement with occasional travel to our Salisbury, Port Adelaide or Barossa offices, as required.

What you'll do
* Provide strategic and operational leadership of the Quality & Capability function across all regions.
* Lead, coach and develop a team of Quality Advisors and Data Coordinators, setting clear expectations and accountability.
* Oversee internal audits, thematic reviews and quality checks to ensure alignment with NDIA requirements and PMF measures.
* Lead the development and delivery of the annual Quality Assurance Plan and monitor progress throughout the year.
* Use data from NDIA, PMF, PANDA, PACE and internal systems to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
* Translate data and audit insights into practical capability priorities for regions and teams.
* Partner with Operations, Practice & Innovation and Learning & Development to deliver coordinated coaching, capability uplift activities and action plans.
* Ensure consistent, high-quality onboarding and training for new starters, including monitoring time-to-productivity.
* Produce clear, accurate and timely reports and insights to inform decision-making and service improvement.
* Maintain quality assurance frameworks, SOPs and workflows to ensure they remain current and aligned with NDIA and operational changes.
* Contribute to national quality assurance initiatives, projects and NDIA reporting.
* Escalate systemic risks and practice issues with clear recommendations for action.
What you'll bring
* Experience in quality assurance, audit, compliance or performance monitoring within NDIS, the human services sector, or a similar environment.
* Demonstrated capability in data analysis, reporting and translating insights into action.
* Experience leading teams and coordinating capability or quality improvement activities.
* Strong communication, planning, problem-solving and digital literacy skills.
* Experience in data quality, analysis, validation or reporting (NDIS or human services desirable).
* Familiarity with NDIA systems, PMF, PANDA, PACE or similar tools (desirable).
Qualifications & Checks
* Relevant tertiary qualification in disability, human services, social work, community development, allied health, or a related field.
* Current unrestricted driver's licence and access to reliable transport.
* NDIS Workers Screening Check & Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Ability to undergo a NDIA security clearance.
* Ability to undergo a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
