Responsibilities:
* Serve a variety of beverages, including wines, spirits, and craft beers, with an emphasis on quality and presentation.
* Engage customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, providing recommendations and enhancing their overall experience.
* Maintain a clean and organized shop, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order.
* Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
* Stay informed about current beverage trends and product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
Open / Close the venue according to venue procedures.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a high-end establishment in the hospitality industry - bar experience preferred as venue will transition to a wine bar in future
* Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and craft beers.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Responsible service of alcohol (RSA) certification.
-WSET or similar qualifications preferred but not essential.
* Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
