Your New Role And Responsibilities
This is an opportunity to develop your Project Management skills within a team of high‑quality professionals who will support your professional growth. You will support and protect our personnel in the Australian Defence Forces as a consultant to inspire, motivate and support them. Your responsibilities include overseeing the SOC, managing security operations, incident response, detection, analysis, containment and eradication of cybersecurity incidents, and ensuring the SOC team supports the customer's mission.

Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the CISO to review and uplift the SOC
* Providing leadership and mentoring to the team
* Working closely with the customer in a collaborative fashion
* Ensuring services are delivered appropriately
* Continuous improvement of services through people, process and technology
About You And What You'll Bring
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and developing junior team members.
* Solid understanding of contemporary cybersecurity environments and operations.
* Hands‑on experience with incident response, cyber operations and infrastructure security.
* Ability to conduct security assessments or audits of networks and systems.
This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a NV‑2 level security clearance. If you currently hold an active NV‑1 and can upgrade, you will also be considered.
