The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to lead our dynamic team and drive the continued success of Etsu Izakaya. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily venue operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards
* Lead, train, and inspire front-of-house and management teams
* Drive financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
* Maintain exceptional customer service standards and resolve guest concerns professionally
* Manage staffing levels, rosters, and recruitment
* Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations
* Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and directors to enhance the venue offering
About You
* Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Venue Manager or Senior Restaurant Manager
* Strong leadership and team development skills
* Proven ability to manage high-volume service
* Solid understanding of P&L management and cost control
* Current RSA (QLD)
* Passion for hospitality and Japanese cuisine culture
* Energetic, organised, and solutions-focused
