What's the role?
The Mortgage Operations team is on an exciting transformational journey focusing on customer-centric service delivery and simplifying processes through the One Best Way program. As a Senior Business Analyst in the Continuous Improvement team, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving business practices across all business units within Mortgage Operations.
You will lead business analysis tasks in projects and programs using methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, and business process management. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Westpac Group to identify improvement opportunities, develop targeted solutions, and deliver innovative outcomes.
What do I need?
* 4 – 6 years of experience in business process improvement, implementing LEAN methodologies, data analysis, and business case preparation within Financial Services.
* Experience coordinating, leading, and coaching team members to deliver multi-team projects on time.
* Demonstrated experience managing multiple business process re-engineering or transformation projects.
* Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders effectively, facilitate workshops, and manage relationships to drive project success.
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
* Strong Data Analytics skills, advanced level in Excel (essential). Basic understanding of data systems (e.g., PowerBi) is also required.
