You have the opportunity to gain a wealth of expertise and a diverse range of skills, providing insight and knowledge without losing sight of your work-life balance or wellbeing.
In this role, you'll:
Lead and coordinate a portfolio of enterprise-wide strategic engineering programs under the direction of the Chief Engineer, driving reform, harmonisation and governance initiatives across all modes of transport. You will guide the development and continuous improvement of engineering management systems, standards and technical frameworks, ensuring consistency, integrity and regulatory compliance across complex and multidisciplinary environments. Through structured reporting, clear performance insights and proactive issue management, you will enable informed decision-making at senior levels.
Facilitate collaboration across Professional Heads, modal engineering teams, asset management, operations and assurance bodies to strengthen technical governance and embed whole-of-lifecycle management principles. You will coordinate cross-modal and national harmonisation activities, translate emerging technologies and innovation into updated frameworks and standards, and ensure engineering reform initiatives deliver measurable improvements in safety, reliability and sustainability outcomes.
