Automic Group is expanding, and we're looking for a Fund Accountant to join our high-performing Fund Administration team.As a Fund Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely accounting, reporting, and reconciliation services across a diverse portfolio of managed funds and investment products.
You'll work closely with clients, custodians, and internal teams to ensure exceptional service and high-quality outcomes.Job DescriptionWhat you'll doDeliver daily, weekly, and monthly NAV calculations, unit pricing, and reconciliationsPrepare journals, accruals, and maintain general ledger accuracySupport financial statement preparation and assist with tax calculations and distribution processesInvestigate and resolve reconciliation breaks across cash, positions, and valuationsWork closely with clients and stakeholders to resolve queries and provide timely supportAssist with external audit processes and prepare supporting documentationContribute to process improvements, operational controls, and continuous optimisation initiativesDesired Skills and ExperienceWhat you'll bringDegree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar (essential)1–3+ years' experience in fund accounting, fund administration, financial reporting, or investment operationsStrong understanding of managed funds, financial instruments, unit pricing, and valuation principlesExcellent attention to detail, analytical capability, and proficiency in ExcelStrong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationshipsA proactive, collaborative mindset and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, high-performing environmentProgress toward CA/CPA is an advantageAbout UsAutomic is a market-leading technology company delivering financial market infrastructure for the mission-critical needs of investors and issuers across Australia.
