The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to oversee fleet maintenance and lead our dedicated workshop team at Tamworth Buslines. This is a senior, hands-on role ideal for a trade-qualified heavy vehicle mechanic with supervisory experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing scheduled servicing and repairs
* Leading and supervising workshop staff
* Ensuring WH&S and compliance standards are met
* Ordering parts and managing stock levels
* Maintaining accurate service records

To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A Motor Vehicle Tradesperson Certificate (MVTC) – Essential
* Trade qualification as a heavy vehicle mechanic
* At least 3 years' experience in a similar supervisory or foreman role
* A current Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong leadership and team coordination skills
* High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication
* Strong organisational and time management skills
