KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Trade Activity Manager, you will be the connecting link between our brand team and our Tasmanian sales team. Your average week will involve:
* Providing sales administrative support across the State
* Events management, venue selection to venue set up and budget management
* Updating marketing collateral and managing the assets
* Managing and updating wine allocations
* Creating comprehensive PowerPoints & Excel reports
* Working closely with Winery Partners on promotions & agreements
* Assist with onboarding of new staff members in your State
* Attendance to offsite trade days and evening events from time to time
* General office duties, this role acts as office manager and receptionist to our small Tasmanian office too!
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To succeed in this role, you will:
* Be experienced in diary management and organisation
* Have worked in a fast-paced hospitality environment, in a management/supervisor position
* Ideally, have managed events from concept to completion
* Be excellent with Excel, we’re talking Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP – all that fancy stuff.
* Creative and adept with PowerPoint
* Understand or have a passion for the wine industry
* Be able to demonstrate excellent customer care and time management
This is an ideal role for a hospitality professional that has experience managing diaries, organising events and dealing with the problems that arise in a busy venue that is keen to transition out of the hospitality lifestyle and into more of a Monday to Friday role.
