Position: Project Lead – Integrated Child and Family Services
Duration: Full time, fixed term for 12 months
Base Salary: $115,657 to $123,948 per annum
WHO ARE WE?
Established in 1991, Danila Dilba Health Service (DDHS) is an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation committed to providing culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care services and community development within the Biluru (Aboriginal) community of the Yilli Rreung (Greater Darwin) Region in the Northern Territory.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Project Lead of the Integrated Child and Family Services Implementation, under the direction of the Senior Manager for Child & Family Services (CFS) and in collaboration with a consultant, will be responsible for managing operational functions of the service redesign throughout staged phases to completion. The role will assist the consultant with relevant internal and external systems, will be the interface between internal and external stakeholders and will be responsible for managing the project, ensuring priorities are delivered on time and within budget.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Work with Senior Manager CFS and existing teams within DDHS to improve the efficiency and quality by contributing to the re-design of the DDHS Maternal and Child Health Service Model and ensuring its implementation.
* Manage and foster relationships with stakeholders relevant to the re-design and implementation.
* Lead the review and development of relevant policies and procedures required to ensure laws and regulations relevant to service delivery practices are complied with when developing and implementing the new model.
* Awareness and understanding of the DDHS strategic plan.
* Contribute to developing and implementing strategies to meet goals set towards providing high-quality, comprehensive administrative support.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential
* Project management experience.
* Three to five years of experience in relevant integrated models of care.
* Knowledge of the social determinants of health (environment, economic and social inequalities) that have a profound impact on the health and well-being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
* Demonstrated ability to use culturally sensitive ways to ensure improved client access to DDHS and/or other health services.
* Proven teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to constructively negotiate outcomes with a diverse range of people and service providers.
* Experience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships and project deadlines with competing priorities and limited resources.
* High level of personal resilience and flexibility with the ability to deal with challenging situations.
* Demonstrated computer skills, especially in the use of client information systems or similar.
Desirable
* Experience working within the ACCO/ACCHO sector
* Qualifications in a relevant field
