Kitchen Hand, Cleaner, Laundry (Aged Care)
Atlas Care WA is looking for professionals to work at various aged care facilities across Perth. All roles require aged care experience; candidates with no aged care experience should not apply.
Kitchen Hand
Assist the chef with preparing quality meals for residents in aged care facilities. Familiar with diet types, textures, temperature and fluid consistencies. Familiar with aged care food and fluid care plans.
* Assist chefs in preparing ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring
* Prepare sandwiches and salads for residents
* Carry out basic cooking tasks under the supervision of the head cook or chef when required
* Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking materials in compliance with health regulations
* Hold a safe food handling certificate
Cleaner (Aged Care Experience)
* Perform general cleaning duties in resident rooms, common areas, kitchens, and bathrooms
* Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces
* Disinfect high-touch surfaces to promote infection control and safety
* Knowledge of colour-coded cleaning chemicals and usage is essential
Laundry
* Operate laundry machines
* Organise clothes and deliver to the correct rooms
