Mental Health Clinician - Suicide Prevention Outreach Team
The role of the Mental Health Clinician is to work in a collaborative and supportive team environment, providing holistic recovery-oriented care to individuals experiencing suicidality.
This may involve crisis response with internal or external agencies, working collaboratively and in conjunction with other Towards Zero Suicides in Care initiatives within the Local Health District (LHD) context.
* Provide rapid crisis support to people experiencing suicidality;
* Collaborate with internal and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care;
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with a Peer Worker to provide evidence-based rapid crisis support;
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external agencies;
* Contribute to the development of a Just and Restorative Culture within the LHD.
