About the role
You will ensure the effective and efficient management of operations under the PAS Regional Operations Manager for this multi-site contract. This role involves overseeing multiple bases, measuring and reporting of operational performance compliance against contractual obligations, and driving continuous improvement across all sites.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and implementing an audit schedule to ensure regular and systematic internal audits of both internal staff and external contractor staff.
* Performing detailed internal audits to evaluate adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Identifying non-compliances and developing corrective action plans to address any deficiencies and monitoring the implementation and effectiveness of these corrective actions.
* Tracking and reporting on KPIs to ensure operational objectives are being met.
* Ensuring all operations comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and contractual requirements.
* Maintaining effective communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Providing guidance and training to staff on compliance, quality control, and operational procedures.
* Preparing and presenting reports on audit findings, operational performance, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
* Identifying areas for process improvement and work collaboratively with teams to implement best practices.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the defence sector or a large multi-site organisation.
* Proven experience in audit management and conducting internal audits.
* Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* A tertiary qualification in Business, Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
