About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to lead safety initiatives across both construction and transport operations. This is a hands‐on role where you will drive a proactive safety culture, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement across all projects. This position could be part‐time negotiable for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote and embed a strong safety culture across all sites
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, and Australian Standards
* Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
* Review and approve SWMS
* Lead incident and near‐miss investigations (ICAM preferred)
* Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training
* Support environmental compliance and risk management
* Engage with clients, subcontractors, and regulators
Skills & Experience
* 5+ years' HSE experience in construction and/or transport/logistics
* Strong knowledge of structural and high‐risk construction activities
* Solid understanding of South Australian WHS legislation
* Proven ability to influence and engage site teams
* Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
* Diploma/Degree in WHS or related field (preferred)
* White Card (mandatory)
* ICAM training (desirable)
* Current Driver's Licence
