Job Title: Hotel Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to lead our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the hotel, including daily operations, staff supervision, and ensuring that high standards of customer service are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and motivate the team to achieve their best performance in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high levels of operational efficiency.
2. Coordinate the rostered schedule, making changes where required to ensure optimal staffing levels and adequate coverage during peak periods.
3. Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders, including staff, guests, and external partners, and address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
4. Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory control, stock management, and quality control procedures.
5. Monitor and improve the quality of service delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
6. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, loyalty, and retention, and monitor the effectiveness of these initiatives.
7. Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop programs to upskill and reskill staff, enhancing their knowledge and competencies.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by senior management, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, with a strong track record of success in managing teams and achieving results.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Ability to work under pressure, think critically, and make sound judgments in a dynamic environment.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
* Relevant qualifications and certifications in hospitality management, such as an MBA or Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation.
* Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
