In this role, you'll support a diverse array of cyber services within a well-established Cyber team.
This role is based at RAAF Base Edinburgh, South Australia.ResponsibilitiesJoin a multi-disciplinary team in a senior role, responsible for implementing information security requirements, policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.Drive the enhancement of cyber maturity within the P8 Poseidon Program.Lead the evaluation of process effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.Plan and Coordinate the Plan of Action & Milestones (POAM) and cyber risk reduction initiatives.Conduct security compliance monitoring, assess gaps, and respond to emerging security incidents.Provide mature information security design advice, recommending technological or procedural solutions to meet security control objectives in support of engineering activities.Analyse and document information security incidents, identify root causes, prioritize threats, and recommend or implement corrective actions.
Test and deploy risk mitigation processes and tools.Exhibit strong verbal communication skills, effectively articulating complex security concepts to diverse audiences.Build strong relationships with various organisations supporting the P8 Poseidon Program.Coach and mentor junior staff members.About You / QualificationsQualifications, certification or relevant experience in a cybersecurity-related field.Experience in security risk management and applying frameworks under the DSPF, ISM, ISO27001 etc.Experience with Defence Assessment and Authorisation (A&A) processes.Experience in vulnerability management tools, Windows and Linux cybersecurity, OT environments, and developing/reviewing security processes and procedures.
