La Trobe Sport was established to implement the Plan for Sport at La Trobe, involving activities such as:
Developing teaching and learning opportunities related to sport Building research capacity in sport Developing sporting partnerships to enhance teaching, learning, and research Facilitating academic programs related to sport Coordinating student services and facilities to maximize club sport and community/school partnerships Supporting infrastructure development for sport programs Managing sport-related partnerships and sponsorships The primary purpose of this position is to work with the Customer Experience Officer (Admin) to facilitate sales of facilities and experiences, ensuring outstanding customer service across La Trobe Sport's infrastructure.
Special Requirements: Working on a rotating roster within normal business hours (7.30am – 7.30pm), depending on facility bookings. Skills and Experience Candidates should have:
Good communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with stakeholders A flexible attitude, initiative, adaptability, ability to prioritize, and work independently or as part of a team Knowledge of IT systems like booking software, point-of-sale, and Microsoft Office A solutions-focused attitude and willingness to support various service areas Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills A positive, proactive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service Willingness to learn and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive team culture Training or education equivalent to Certificate III/IV in Sport & Recreation or similar Relevant experience and knowledge of customer service principles in sport and recreation settings Refer to the Position Description for additional duties, skills, and experience requirements.
