In this role, you will support the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused Anatomical Pathology service by assisting scientific, technical and medical staff with laboratory and specimen processing duties. You will play an important role in ensuring specimens are received, processed and managed correctly to support diagnostic testing and patient care.
What you'll do
In this role you will perform general laboratory duties including receiving and registering specimens, assist with specimen processing in Anatomical Pathology, maintain the laboratory environment including cleaning and restocking, follow patient identification and labelling procedures, and support quality and safety procedures to ensure effective laboratory operations and service delivery.

We are searching for someone who:
* Has experience or the ability to learn specimen reception and laboratory procedures
* Can accurately enter data and use computer systems
* Has good communication and interpersonal skills
* Can follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
* Can prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
