The position requires a high level and quality of nursing skills and experience coupled with the ability to learn new skills quickly and work within a fast-paced environment. The veterinary dermatology nurse will also communicate closely with clients, providing outstanding customer service and assist the dermatologist in various specialist consultations and procedures throughout the day.This is a part time position working Saturdays only with the potential of additional shifts during the week if required.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Intradermal testing for allergiesAssisting with ear flushes, biopsies, laser surgery, MRI, hearing testsAssisting with consultations and dischargesClient phone calls, emails and follow upThis role would be ideal for a veterinary nurse who is highly motivated, can focus well, has great client and staff relationship skills, works well in a highly skilled team, has a sense of humor and has experience working in a busy departmental environment.
