About the role
We are looking for a Developer (in either Brisbane or Melbourne) to design, develop, maintain, and connect applications, integrations, and AI‐enabled solutions within our Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, Power Platform, and M365. The role is part of Ashurst Labs, the experimentation environment of Ashurst Advance, and works across software development, product management, and data science disciplines. You will collaborate with cross‐functional agile teams to create and support client‐facing solutions and internal initiatives, helping to digitise legal work and manage client and internal data.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing, developing, and maintaining Microsoft Azure applications and solutions.
* Integrating services via Azure Logic Apps, API Management, and Power Platform.
* Building and managing CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Azure DevOps, Bicep, or Terraform.
* Proposing and implementing generative AI capabilities while assessing associated risks.
About you
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum four years of experience as a Developer focused on Microsoft Azure and generative AI.
* Strong experience with Azure services (Function Apps, Logic Apps, API Management, Azure AI services) and Power Platform development.
* Programming expertise in Python, C#, JavaScript or similar.
* Experience building and managing Azure CI/CD pipelines and/or Power Platform deployments using Azure DevOps.
* Understanding of IaC practices such as Bicep or Terraform.
* Interest in generative AI, its risks and opportunities.
* Experience in a technology innovation role within a professional services business is desirable.
