Key Responsibilities:
To participate as a team member with other Pharmacy Assistants to provide supporting pharmacy services under the supervision of a Pharmacist including: Prescription preparation and associated activities, Materials management including medicine distribution, stock management and bulk handling, Clinical Unit Based Pharmacy Assistant (CUBPA) services including inpatient supplies, discharge prescriptions and preparation of discharge medication records, Materials Management for Automated Technology eg Rowa VmaxTM, Pyxis MedStationTM and Pneumatic Tube System (SCUH only), Non aseptic preparation of pharmaceutical products and Clinical Trials dispensing.
Demonstrated solid communication skills within the health care team and with patients and clients.
Participate in the quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of Pharmacy services within the local service area.
