This is a **permanent, full-time** (Monday to Friday) opportunity based out of our **Rockhampton** office.Reporting to the *Safety Manager* the primary responsibility of this role will be to coordinate all aspects of Health, Safety, Sustainability & Risk Management for Hastings Deering employees working within our operations teams.The key responsibilities of this role will include:* Provide expert advice and assistance to facilitate a safe working environment and ensure that all work practices are in accordance with Company policy and recognised and legislated Work Health & Safety regulations and procedures* Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment or practices to ensure compliance* Assist in the maintenance and optimisation of the Safety Management System in accordance to Hastings Deering and legislative requirements* Facilitate Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) investigations as required* Coordinate incident investigation, reporting and corrective actions* Ensure environmental policies and procedures are adhered to* Develop and implement site-specific safety strategies and initiativesHastings Deering is proud to be one of the top 5 Caterpillar dealerships globally.
