About the Role
Reporting to the Business Development Manager & Managing Director, we are looking for an energetic and experienced XEROexperienced Bookkeeper to join our small friendly, professional & awesome practice team on 2-3 days part time basis.
You will need to have the flexibility to work off-site at clients' workplace if needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Working on clients of various industries.
- Working with various add-ons such as Workflow Max, Dext, Hubdoc, Vend, Deputy, Cliniko, Service M8 etc.
- Processing Payroll, BAS & IAS preparation and liaising with Managing Director & the team.
- Assist in preparing financial information/reports for Accountants, on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Month end and Year end processing, reconciliations and data entry of required journals.
- Prepare disclosure statements and client agreements for new clients.
- Ad-hoc analysis for the Managing Director & Business Development Manager.
- Can be required to work on client premises.
Skills & Experience
- You MUST reside in and hold full work rights in Australia.
- MUST have excellent knowledge of XERO.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, with a Diploma or higher qualification.
- Proficiency in MS Office i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve.
- Team Player, self-motivated, reliable and trustworthy.
- Ability to learn current systems and procedures quickly.
- Experience working in a bookkeeping/ accounting firm will be a distinct advantage.
- Good working knowledge of MYOB & QuickBooks will be awesome.
- Experience with preparing tax returns would be a bonus.
- THIS ROLE IS an OFFICE BASED opportunity IN PERTH.
