Job Opportunity
Maintain school grounds, gardens, fields, and outdoor spaces across approximately 12 acres of property.
* Operate a large zero-turn mower and other grounds equipment regularly.
* Perform general building and facility maintenance tasks, including minor repairs to ensure facilities are safe and functional.
* Routine inspections of the grounds, fences, irrigation systems, and outdoor facilities are essential for identifying potential issues.
* Seasonal tasks like pruning, mulching, weed control, and pest management require regular attention.
* Waste management involves handling green waste and recycling, ensuring a clean environment.
* Diligent staff must identify and report site hazards or damage promptly.
* Staff may be required to assist with event setup and pack down as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the appearance and safety of school grounds, gardens, fields, and outdoor spaces.
2. Facility Maintenance: Perform general building and facility maintenance tasks, including minor repairs.
3. Safety and Security: Identify and report site hazards or damage, ensuring a secure environment.
4. Event Support: Assist with event setup and pack down as needed.
