Job Description: Connectivity Automation Senior Developer
We are seeking an experienced Connectivity Automation Developer with deep expertise in systems integration and network automation to join a energetic global IT team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and building advanced automations for our critical network connectivity infrastructure. You will be integrating various platforms such as Ansible, ServiceNow, GitHub, and SolarWinds, while also working on network standardization through YANG modelling. Python programming is a required skill.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end automation solutions to integrate disparate systems, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows for connectivity operations.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide scalable integration solutions using Ansible, ServiceNow, GitHub, and other platforms.
- Create and maintain robust API-based integrations.
- Develop and write Python scripts and logic within Ansible playbooks for network orchestration.
- Standardize and document network configurations using YANG modelling for network devices, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Test, troubleshoot, and resolve system integration and workflow issues, ensuring high levels of performance, security, and reliability.
- Continuously monitor and analyze the efficiency of integrated solutions, proposing and implementing improvements.
- Participate in regular review sessions with IT peers to discuss best practices, new technologies, and potential optimizations.
- Offer training and support to other IT team members on integrated systems and platforms.
- Work effectively within an agile environment.
Required Skills & Experience (Must-Have):
- 5+ Years of experience in each of the following:
- Automation & Orchestration: Advanced expertise in writing and managingAnsible Playbooks.
- IT Service Management & CMDB: Hands-on experience withServiceNow or a similar enterprise CMDB platform.
- Version Control: Proficiency withGitHub or similar systems.
- Network Modelling: Strong experience withYANG data modelling.
- APIs: Proven experience withRESTCONF & NETCONF APIs and data encoding (XML, JSON).
Preferred Skills & Experience (Good-to-Have):
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience with Azure, AWS, or Azure CI/CD pipelines.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency with Linux.
- Other Technologies: Familiarity with Apache, MySQL, GIT, OpenAPI, and Template Engines like Jinja2.
- Designing integrations for complex systems and ensuring cross-platform compatibility.
- Staying updated with the rapid evolution of tools and technologies.
- Designing solutions that are scalable to meet future organizational growth.
- Ensuring data integrity and security across all integrated platforms.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Performance optimization and continuous improvement of automated workflows.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation and providing team training.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8- 10 years in a relevant IT field.
- Education: Bachelor\'s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Background: A background in IT service delivery (ITIL certification is a plus).
- Technical Acumen: Proven ability to bridge technical specifications and business concepts.
- Networking Knowledge: Proficient understanding of WAN, LAN, Wireless LAN, IP management, DNS, and DHCP.
- Certifications: Network certifications like Cisco DevNet Professional or CCNP are preferred.
- Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken).
