Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a permanent full-time Sketch Designer to join our dynamic team to work closely with our Sales Department.
This role is ideal for someone who has a minimum of three years residential drafting experience with exposure to design, who wishes to step up into a full-time sketch role.
The Role:
* Producing Archicad sketches for our Senior Design Consultants by following their write-up
* Liaising with internal departments and external parties to overcome design and construction issues
* Providing advice and guidance to our Senior Design Consultants on design issues or suggestions on how to improve design
* Designing our premium display home product
About You:
* Certificate IV in Residential Drafting or Diploma of Building Design and Technology
* Sound Archicad skills
* Minimum 3 years Perth based experience in residential drafting with a project home builder
* High level of construction knowledge with a thorough understanding of R‑Codes and NCC requirements
* Creative flair with a high level of attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines when required
* Sound communication skills, good time management and problem solving ability
* A positive and friendly manner
* A strong team player with a solid work ethic
