Support individuals with complex needs — including sensory, physical, and intellectual disabilities, often with challenging behaviours — living in shared accommodation.
Assist with daily living, promote independence, and enable community access while making a real difference every day.Your ResponsibilitiesAssist customers with all aspects of daily living —including personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance and household tasks— while consistently promoting dignity and respectCommunicate and build meaningful connections with customers, adapting interactions to meet each individual's unique needs.Encourage and take part in daily activities, including dance classes, swimming, and various social eventsSafely and confidently operate modified vehicles to transport participants to appointments, activities, and community outingsFollow person-centred plans and assist individuals in working towards their personal life goalsMaintain accurate records of supports and services through timesheets, case notes, and incident reportsWhat we're looking forA customer-focused individual with a genuine passion for supporting people to live fulfilling livesStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive, respectful relationshipsFlexibility and resilience when working with people with complex needs and behavioursHave knowledge and experience in Active Support and are willing to learnValid Driver's Licence (essential)Cert III in Disability/Individual Support (Disability) – desirable but not essentialCompetitive employee benefits including discounts with HBF Health, Ultra Tune servicing, and Commonwealth Bank productsRefer a friend bonus – receive $2,000
