Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated assistants to provide direct care and support to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
* Monitor and report on resident health status, including vital signs and general well-being
* Support registered nurses in providing high-quality patient care
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with healthcare standards
* Assist in resident mobility and positioning
* Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families
* Follow infection control and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
About You:
* A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting (preferred but not essential)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team
* Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care plans and instructions
* A genuine passion for helping others and a caring attitude
