Aged Care Home & Community Assistant
Provide personalized support to older Australians, enabling them to live independently in their homes.
This role involves providing domestic duties, meal preparation, and assisting clients with medical appointments. You will also be responsible for reporting safety issues and maintaining a safe working environment.
To succeed in this position, you will require strong communication skills, the ability to build positive relationships, and a willingness to travel up to 60 km radius. A Certificate III in Individual Support is preferred but not required.
* Domestic duties: vacuuming, mopping, washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, emptying bins, washing/ironing.
* Meal preparation and grocery shopping on behalf of clients.
* Assisting clients with organizing medical appointments.
Successful candidates will undergo pre-employment checks to ensure client safety, including a National Criminal History Record Check and a statutory declaration.
