Do you have what it takes to become a Group Manager Infrastructure? We’re seeking a technically strong infrastructure leader with deep experience across cloud, Microsoft 365, and enterprise service management environments. This role plays a central part in ensuring our infrastructure services are secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs. What you’ll be doing Manage day-to-day operations of hybrid infrastructure services across cloud, data centre, network, and workplace technologies Drive Smart’s cloud adoption roadmap and ongoing optimisation of Microsoft 365, Azure, and related platforms Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and security posture, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 and other frameworks Lead change and release management, ensuring impact assessments and risk controls are in place Partner with Cyber Security and Architecture teams to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure Oversee IT Help Desk operations, including incident response and resolution Support and empower teams across Infrastructure, Help Desk, Change/Release Management, and IT Procurement/Vendor Management Encourage a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Build strong relationships with vendors and manage service contracts Contribute to strategic planning, technical design, and roadmap development About you You bring a thoughtful approach to managing complex environments and supporting teams. Ideally, you will have: 10 years’ experience in IT Service Management and IT Operations Experience in both client-side and consulting engagements Proven track record leading hybrid cloud infrastructure operations (Azure, M365, network, security, storage) Experience designing and operating scalable, secure enterprise environments Strong understanding of ITIL processes, automation, and service integration Experience managing vendors and MSPs across multi-cloud and hybrid environments A commitment to enabling inclusive, high-performing teams through supportive and empowering leadership Ability to evaluate options and guide teams toward effective solutions Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills What’s in it for you?
