This fast-growing indoor furniture business creates stylish, functional pieces designed for Australian homes. With strong momentum and an expanding product range, the company is now investing heavily in its B2B channel, and you'll be at the centre of it.
The Role
As the Business Development Manager you'll be responsible for identifying, signing, and onboarding distributors, wholesalers, and dealer groups nationally. This is a greenfield role with huge scope and perfect for someone commercially minded, proactive, and excited by growth.
What You'll Do
* Build and manage a pipeline of distributor and reseller prospects across Australia
* Lead outreach, presentations, sampling, proposals, and deal negotiations
* Onboard new partners with training, product collateral, and launch support
* Develop joint plans with distributors to drive sell through and range expansion
* Support partners with merchandising, product guidance, and promotional planning
* Collaborate with Operations on stock flow, delivery experience, and lead times
* Work closely with Marketing on catalogues, imagery, POS material, and sales tools
* Maintain accurate CRM data covering pipeline, forecasts, and partner activity
About You
* 5+ years' experience in B2B business development
* Strong hunter mentality: confident finding, pitching, and closing new partners
* Strong communication skills with the ability to present and handle objections
* Highly organised, self‐directed, and comfortable in a "build phase" environment
* Existing relationships within wholesale or distributor networks in any industry
Bonus points if you have
* Experience in furniture or homewares.
* Existing wholesale or distributor relationships in the home living space
