**The Opportunity**
A vacancy exists in the finance department for an Accounts Receivable / Credit Manager
- supervising, training and overseeing the daily operations of the Credit Team of 5.
Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the performance of the Credit team - ensuring effective and efficient personnel, procedures and practices.
- Maintenance of AR ledger and optimization of cash flow outcomes.
- Liaise with external agencies regarding the collection of overdue accounts. Identify and liaise with Business Units regarding likely defaulting/unresolved account issues.
- Provide general assistance to the CFO as required.
- Manage daily operations and processes for the Credit team
- Minimise bad and overdue debts
- Providing leadership and coaching to facilitate development of an effective and proactive Credit & AR team.
- Liaise with all stakeholders to facilitate the development and implementation of system and reporting requirements.
**ABOUT YOU(What you possess)**
You will be a proven AR/Credit Manager with a track record managing teams in medium to large sized businesses. 5+ years of staff management is essential.
