Details: Do you want to work in a role where you make a difference in the local community? The Office for Seniors and Veterans is seeking an experienced officer for the role of Senior Program Officer.
This officer will contribute to the development of policy and program advice, prepare Ministerial briefings and correspondence, and lead work to deliver on key ACT Government priorities.
A demonstrated understanding, or the ability to develop an understanding, of the relationship between government and the community is essential. The office will have a high-level commitment to excellent customer service outcomes and principles, along with the ability to display and exercise sound judgment around complex issues.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in a related discipline are highly desirable.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 10 months until 05 March 2027 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
