Strike Drilling is a well-established Mineral Exploration Drilling Company and leading provider of Reverse Circulation and Air Core drilling services with rigs operating across Australia.
We are currently looking for motivated candidates for Drillers Offsider positions (both entry level and experienced) flying out of Cairns or Darwin commencing May 2025. This role will support all aspects of drilling operations and the exploration geology team.
* Fly in, fly out from Cairns - you will need to get yourself to Cairns (you are able to salary sacrifice this flight)
* Fly in, fly out from Darwin – must reside in Darwin
* Even time roster - 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off
* Clean shaven site
* Client camp accommodation
This is a physically demanding position working in a very hot environment! While you do not need mining or drilling industry experience you must have recent experience working in a physically demanding role to be considered.
What You Need:
Applications will not be considered without a valid HR Licence.
* HR driver's licence (essential – HRB preferred)
* C‐Class Driver's Licence
* Physically fit, reliable, and safety-focused
* Ability to work long shifts in harsh conditions
* National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
* Willing to get yourself to and from Cairns for your rostered swings (or reside in Cairns or Darwin)
